Below shows the process of cutting and folding one single component of the pattern to form spatial qualities. By perforating the upper surface to allow for access to the inhabitable levels together with light penetration- it is evident to see the changes to spaces that have been created prior.

The diagrams shows the inhabitable upper, mid and lower spaces created by the folding together with the curved perforation still leaving connection routes to these upper levels and the voids creating access to the lower levels.
